Once seen capturing beautiful photographs on the streets of GB Road, Nimish is now serving people of Delhi amidst the pandemic as a Civil Defense Officer. One of the most shy children at Kat-Katha, he always had this ability to take over the chaos and lead from the front. Along with academics, he followed his dream of being a photographer. He was selected for several fellowships and got recognition for his amazing pictures. He also launched a photobook called ‘Ek Dosti Aisi Bhi’. Last year, Nimish completed his schooling and fought against all the odds to get selected in Civil Defense. He was recruited and posted in Delhi with the District Magistrate of Karol Bagh. He owes this success to all his teachers, family members and friends.

Nimish’s journey is an inspiration for many children studying in Kat-Katha. His hard work and patience is exemplary.
He now looks forward to complete his education
